I Can Find Hemp Oil on Amazon For Cheap, Why Are Some So Expensive?

The simple answer is, they are not the same thing.

Since the Farm Bill of 2018 passed making the production of hemp products legal, there has been a massive increase in hemp products available. They are considered supplements, so they are not regulated by the FDA. Simply stated, there's no way to know the product is what it says it is. There are some things you can do to avoid making a mistake when purchasing hemp products.

1) Read the labels. Any product sold on websites like Amazon, Etsy, etc. does NOT have CBD in it. It may be hemp oil, but it does not have the same properties as a product with CBD. These large selling platforms do not allow for any products with CBD in them to be sold on their website. Any high quality CBD products will be sold on their own website.

What should you look for on the label?

The total amount of CBD in the hemp oil is usually what is printed on the label. So our 3000 mg Hemp Oil has 3000 mg of total CBD in the bottle. This means that if you take a whole dropper full of oil, you will get 100 mg of CBD in the dose. 1/2 a dropper would be 50 mg, and so on. Depending on your pain level, you may only need a small amount of CBD to notice the affect. If you don't notice a difference, you can try increasing the dose. CBD is very safe and not addictive, so taking 2 or 3 dropperfuls is ok. Use as needed!

2) Make sure the product has a Certificate of Analysis. This will reassure you that what you are getting is what you paid for. If there is no COA posted anywhere on the website, you can't be sure of the quality of the product.

If you've tried CBD oil before and you didn't notice a difference, there could be a couple different things happening. 1) there wasn't enough CBD in the dose to make a difference. 2) the CBD wasn't good quality. 3) your pain is so much that you really need something more powerful than CBD.

CBD isn't going to work for all kinds of pain. We like to offer CBD as a natural way to calm your pain, but that does not mean it will take away all pain. If you had a major surgery, CBD might help, but it also might not be powerful enough to take away that kind of pain. If you already take narcotics for pain, CBD isn't going to help much. If you already take marijuana for medicinal reasons, you won't notice a difference with just CBD. Always consult your physician before taking any supplements.
